What it is
A YouTube channel of animated SCP stories, made by a team that also works on The Infographics Show. It launched in 2020 with an episode on SCP-173 and has since posted well over a thousand videos. Tracking sites put it at roughly 2.4 million subscribers.
Episodes range from the classics (SCP-173, SCP-999 “The Tickle Monster”) to longer stories such as SCP-3008 “A Perfectly Normal, Regular Old IKEA” and SCP-2956 “We All Live in a Nuclear Submarine”.
Who it is for
The videos are short, clear explainers in The Infographics Show’s familiar style, which makes the channel an easy way in for newcomers. Like any adaptation, it retells the articles rather than reading them word for word, so the original articles are worth reading too.
